You won't be disappointed. Great basses for the $$. You do need a shorty 4mm socket to adjust the truss rod though. A regular one won't get in the channel.

I have one of these. I put some Nordstrand pickups and preamp in it. Its a wonderfull bass. Fun to play.

However, there's an info error on the bass northwest ad.
The neck is actually 33.75", not 34" scale. The B string on my DR5 is as good as any of my other basses. These are very fun basses to play. Enjoy!

I owned and played one of these several years back. Sold it when I bought my Roscoe Beck V. I'm interested to see a pic of yours with the Nordstrand pickups. Were they direct replacements or did you have to do some routing?
