Been playing for over 20 yrs love it and will always love it something very cool about this instrument that I have used for so many years... Tone, melody,Timing.... looking forward to the next 20... cheers to all Rusty

Lots of progressive metal, most excellent! I've never heard of those two Aussie bands, but, being a self-absorbed American presiding in California, that shouldn't be a surprise.

For Progressive Metal I like myself some Coheed and Cambria (definitely in my top 5), Dream Theater, and such. I'm more firmly rooted in Classic Prog, myself- Yes (also top 5 material), The Nice, and friends.

I'll be sure to check out COG and Karnivool when I get a chance, though it may be a while, based on this C&C run I've been on recently...

My band is call The Hollow Wood we are primary a cover band doing Sound Garden, AIC, STP Muse The Tea Party we have just started writing after rehearsing this show so looking forward to originals
