Hello, folks. I’m new to the forums, although I’ve been a supporting member for some time now. Just wanted to introduce myself.
I started playing bass in 1982, played in bands off and on for several years until my hands started going downhill. I spent years collecting, mainly Japanese basses from the late 60’s through early 80’s.
Consequently, I’ve owned some strange and unusual basses, some of which were very hard to find information on. I will be posting some of these on the forum along with what I’ve learned about them. A lot of these basses were of Matsumoku manufacture and in my opinion, very high quality.
Just a brief introduction, and I look forward to participating in the forums.
