This is quite a nice and very large forum you have here. There certainly is a lot of information.
I have been playing bass for about 15 years, and guitar and drums for over 30 years.
On a side note, I used to repair, modify and restore amps for about 25 years, mostly vintage stuff. I still do a little for myself, but I am not looking for more.
If you have any questions about amps or other electronics, just ask. I won't know all the answers but I won't fake it if I don't.
