Come to think of it, they have an 8Ohm 6x10 SWR cab. I wonder if that would suffice.
That will bury your Traynor cab to death. Massive, giant upgrade.

I wish you lot would give OP a break as he struggles to understand and communicate clearly. I'm not even sure which cab is louder for a given knob position.
Also (as just a side thought), how is the pickup height towards your E string?
Maybe backing it off a little will improve a more even response if you still find yourself hitting a wall with the speaker and EQ adjustments.
Your cab is working properly then, it's just the wrong cab for what you're trying to accomplish. You likely get more for it selling it privately than trading it in, but in any case, take your amp and your bass and hook it up to that SWR 610 and see what you think about that one.
I may do this...if I can move it fast. I have a gig coming up in a week or so & don't want my farts to be heard by the crowd.

I'd avoid an HLF model. They are extremely bottom heavy and get muddy easily. Better to find an HE model IMO. Better yet find an old SWR Goliath cab. Or an old Eden XLT or XST cab. They can be found cheap and work great.
I'm thinking of this one:
Good/Bad? Yes/No? 800W @ 8Ohms with a sensitivity of 101 dB SPL @ 1w/1m, which means I'll be pushing 350W into it from my PF-500...should be a much better fit given that the cab would be more like 400W by what you guys told me earlier??

Yes more than your budget but either stretch for a good cab once or audition used cabs.![]()
There's a reason the HLF is cheap. Trust me.
