Help! BXR 300C

Congrats on the purchase Lisa. That's a really great price. I got my Bxr300c for $380 about a year ago and it had seem some action. So you got a real steal.

I found alot of people don't like the Bxr series but mostly, it seems, the smaller wattage size. I've tried the Bassman series and for the money and the wattage I wouldn't trade. Quite honestly, except for the weight, I'm really happy with the amp. I think it's a great amp for practice and probably most small/med venues you would encounter.

I'm also considering a 2x10 or 4x10 extension cab. So let us know how it sounds when you get it.

Thanks! I'm really happy with the purchase. The guy never gigged with it, and I doubt he ever had it turned up more than 3....heck, at 3, it rattles the windows in my studio! :D

I'll probably not get another Cab for it any time soon, since I don't play out right now, but I'll definitely let you know when I do.

I actually just started using one of these in a gig I'm doing (belongs to the other bass player I share the chores with).

Not a bad-sounding combo -- but I agree with the assessment on adding a cab with 10s. It would really open up the sound.

Anybody know what the output of this thing is as configured (just the 15)? I'm guessing around 200 watts.
