Help IDing a Bass

hey everyone-
i just started playing bass, bought mine at a tiny little shop in
NY, used. its a JBP Artist, bolt on neck, j-p config, active pups. 4 string, gold hardware. plays better than any other bass ive ever tried, regardless of brand, cost, etc. would anyone know how much these things are worth? the company doesnt seem to exist anymore, and i was curious.

Nothing wrong with a JB Player. I mean, it's not a Sadowsky, and you might be disapointed if you expect it to be. But as an inexpensive bass, you can do far worse. I would play on without a problem.

i picked it up for 250, used w/ some light scratches on the back. sorry no pics, my comps having problems. and ken r., you seem to be the only person ive ever spoken to who knows the company....whats the retail on these new, about?

id say 399 new. but if you bought it for 250 thats what its worth
