help indentifying strings?

I bought a used bass with some strings I like, I just have no idea what they are. They have black ball end on every string and they have silver silk at the top. They are on a Spector 4 string.

Any ideas? They are either steel or nickel, I think steel.

Nobody knows of a brand that uses black alloy ball ends on all the strings?

Dean Markly Blue Steels, pretty killer strings if you dont get a dead one.
