Help! Looking for the right bass-fuzz

This is exactly one way the TAFM excels. If you turn the fuzz volume all the way down, you can hear the "clean" blend- it isn't perfectly clean, and that's what makes it work.Thank you very much to all. @two fingers how is it the clean blend control? I'm not a big fan of the blend "concept". I tried the big muff deluxe and mxr deluxe fuzz with the blend but in both cases there was the clean tone and some fuzz "behind" it, two parallel sounds, not well integrated each other...is it just me? How is on the team awesome?

Also just because you have a muff doesn't matter, so many variations on that sound. I picked a Stomp Under Foot Civil War over the Hoof. I love EQD, but the Civil War had more low end with my bass.
The Wizard Fuzz is my favorite Fuzz. Here is mine, which is in more pedal board friendly format and has a clean blend.
I say Pharaoh, but I prefer the Supreme version for all of its extra options. If you just want germanium, the standard Oharaoh will be great, though you'll miss a little bit of tweakability in the gain department, as it only has hi/lo settings compared to the Supreme's knob.
There have been a LOT of muff suggestions! Go with the one fuzz that sounds right to you, regardless of lineage. Of course, that may mean buying multiple and hearing them through your rig.

I'm on a constant lookout for germanium fuzz as well. In general I like clean blend with fuzz, it's a nice way to limit your buying options I'd recommend to get pedal with the most tonal options assuming it's not easy to buy/sell used in your location. TAFM and Amptweaker Bass Tight Fuzz would probably work the best.
I had Amptweaker Bass Tight Fuzz, which I shouldn't have sold. It's very versatile pedal: clean bass blend, 60s/70s switch, "Tight" knob, germanium / silicon switch, 9/18 volts, extra boost deep switch.
At the moment I'm using solidgoldfx beta germanium overdrive. EQ + tone control is not to my liking, but it's nice and straightforward pedal overall.
I haven't tried TAFM and hoof yet.
p.s. I have FEA Photon Fuzz II. Nothing like germanium, but there is something magical about it. I frankly doubt another fuzz will be able to replace it any time soon. I'm not into muffs or darkglass fuzzes.

I would say one of the more universally liked and loved fuzzes. Probably the best choice just from a statistical perspective! And if you don't like it, you can sell it pretty easy. But I think you'll like it enough to keep it around.Well, I'll go for the TAFM I guess. I found it on a website in Germany (they should be great, speaking of germanium fuzzes) finger crossed, thanks to all for the advices!
When I went to a Metro 22 the TAFM's form factor lead to being "replaced" by the Civil War, and it didn't hurt that I've always been a fan of muffs anyways; one of my first fuzzes that saw a lot of gigs was a Swollen Pickle MkII. In a strict "tone/musical response" appraisal the TAFM is a better fuzz than the Civil War.
I'm new to using fuzzes and just picked up a Black Cat Bass Octave Fuzz. Certainly not a new offering, it's been out for awhile. It's based on the Brassmaster circuit. I'm getting some great snarly gnarly tones. The blend knob really keeps your low end in tact.

@MDBass Swollen Pickle was my first choice at the beginning...even that I couldn't find to try (all the others from way huge line yes, obviously, not that 
). At the end I opted for the russian EHX reissue, veeery creamy.
TAFM arrived. The blend works differently from the others I had, as @HolmeBass said. I look forward to try with new amp that is arriving! For know...it's a killer.

So, I started to play regularly with the drummer. I find the Russian and the TAFM a bit redundant, I just use one of them. They reach very similar stages of dirt in some positions so I don't think I'll keep both. I didn't expect the Russian being so versatile, despite the only three knobs, compared to the TAFM. They interact beautifully toghether, giving different flavours and even if it's dark, doesn't disappear. If it stays like this even with the guitar, I guess I'll keep the Russian.
