Help Make My P Bass Pretty

So I recently just impulse bought my first Precision, this '06-'07 USA Highway One in "Honey Blonde". While I'm loving the bass, I'm not loving the appearance quite so much.
Ultimately I've been planning on swapping out the white pickguard for something else but can't seem to make up my mind... Since everybody loves polls I figured you might be willing to help! I've grabbed some images off google to help (thanks to the talkbass members these probably belong to).

Also wondering if it's just a regular 13 hole American Standard guard that fits on these?
PS. At the moment I'm leaning towards the rosewood since it's quite unique. Points to anyone who knows a few places to find them online.

Agree, don't like the white.
I'd throw an anodized gold pickguard on there (or maybe mint green, but it's not one of your options).

Honestly, I can't stand wooden pickguards. They look so out of place. But I also don't like patterned guards, like that carbon-fiber pattern that seems popular here. Tort looks good, but I voted gold for the classic look.

Yeah, typically I prefer mint green over white but in this case I think it might still blend into the finish a bit too much. Definitely happy to see suggestions that aren't on the poll though!

I was thinking about buying a Vintage '50s reissue in Honey Blonde with the gold pickguard but I do think they look good with the tort, too.
Then, I thought why not make it unique and put something like one of these on instead.

As a new P owner myself I vote for tort.
Until I got mine (Olympic white/maple neck/tort guard) I honestly didn't see why so many folks favoured tort but now...
When something's just right, it's right.

I decided to mod my next bass uke into a Jaguar and paint it Olympic white specifically to use a tortoise pickguard, but in your case, I think the rosewood looks great (especially if it matches the fretboard) and it's different, I like that too, but I'm torn between actually voting for one or the other.

I think the rosewood is pretty cool it's something different. I've got a 2011 highway one jazz that I chucked a tort. It changes the look of the honey blonde, it seems to make it appear more red.

If the pickguard is stark white then replace it with parchment.

I recently purchased a Black P bass with a maple neck. Tried all the colours of Tort and of course, black on black. Then found the Anodized Gold and It's never coming off! Coolest pick guard!
