So I recently just impulse bought my first Precision, this '06-'07 USA Highway One in "Honey Blonde". While I'm loving the bass, I'm not loving the appearance quite so much.
Ultimately I've been planning on swapping out the white pickguard for something else but can't seem to make up my mind... Since everybody loves polls I figured you might be willing to help! I've grabbed some images off google to help (thanks to the talkbass members these probably belong to).

Thanks!
I was gonna say the pictures with the tort guard almost look shell pink-ish. Probably just a matter of proper white balancing in the photo, but still.I think the rosewood is pretty cool it's something different. I've got a 2011 highway one jazz that I chucked a tort. It changes the look of the honey blonde, it seems to make it appear more red.

As with a woman, the beauty of a P bass comes from within. The quiet mystique of it always knowing just the right thing to say, and of course how good the man fingering (or spanking) her is. If you touch her just right, if you do your part, she will be beautiful and bring satisfaction to all your days.
That said, if you leave her in her white T-shirt she will be reliable and loyal and solid as ever. If you dress her up, you'll get others looking. It's up to you if you can handle that.
