TB's @johnk_10 could possibly paint it for you.... but Fender custom colors (especially if you can find someone to do an aged version) will look particularly nice with all that original hardware and a gorgeous honey headstock.

i remember (and appreciated) you posting that in another thread but i can’t help suggesting it every time nonethelessCharcoal Frost is a cool color, but it wasn’t available until 1965, so it’s not correct at all for a ‘63.
It looks like the original finish doesn't exist anymore so it's the perfect instrument for a good refinish.Won’t it lose value when you refinish it? I’m a fan of natural vintage relic look and would never refinish a vintage instrument myself. That said, go sonic blue if you’re going through with it!
