1)G&L

and 2) Warwick

What would you choose? they are at the same price used

I owned a fretless Warwick Corvette for a spell and it was like a boat anchor. They weight varies quite a bit, so you'll definitely want to try it before committing. But IME I'd go with the G&L.

I love Warwicks a bit. I love G&Ls a lot. I have one of each, for what it's worth.

It's weird, because the body really isn't that big, it must be the woods they choose, because mine's surprisingly heavy as well. Not quite a "T-40 class" shoulderbender, but getting there...

Do you know how many pounds may weight a 5er G&L like this?

I'm not sure of the weights for that model, maybe the G&L site will help - depends on the body wood, of course. They offer some in Empress (Paulownia), I understand those are extremely light (like 8 pounds). Ask what this one is made of, maybe? Or just ask the weight?

Personally I would play a TF fretless...but in this case G&L

G&L, more so because it’s unlined, but I also don’t like the Warwick Corvette body as it doesn’t sit too well on a strap, in my experience.
