I can help with this; I think red celluloid tortoise like this...or save yer bread & go with black/cream/black like this other one...I have a lot of other colors too...www.pickguardplanet.comI just got this Fender HW1 P-bass. It plays great, sounds great and I got it for a great price. The color however may not be what I had chosen if I had bought the bass new (more like hearing aid beige than blonde to me) but no biggie. The pickguard however... White pickguards are the most boring thing I can imagine, and together with the blonde color... Nah...
So help me livening up this bass with a new pickguard! What color should it be? Black? Tort? Something else? Hit me!

Completely outside the box here, but maybe give it that vintage motorcycle look. Green & White 3 ply or maybe even pearl green.
I'm a fan of black pickguards, and in your case, I'd still stick with that.
I have never recommended this before, but the color of that paint makes me think you bass is one that might look better with a few stickers. Or a refin. Yeah, probably the refin.
