Help me find a pedal?

Okay, so, I'm a die hard QOTSA (Queens of the Stone Age) fan, and as I was looking on Michael Shumans Equipboard, I noticed that it doesn't show any of his gear past Villains? Anyways, I was super interested in finding out what pedal he might be using in this performance of Carnavoyeur? Or if it might just be this pedal he showed in his Board to Death episode? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

It could be any of dozens (I was thinkin Blower Box Deluxe at first, then maybe EQD Blumes or even Geddy Lee Sansamp) but since it's an EQD video and he mentions the Dirt Transmitter, here is a good video on that, but there may be a line splitter because I'm hearing a clean component added

The sound in that clip def sounds like the MXR envelope filter to me; it has a real thick resonance (the emphasis of frequencies near the cutoff frequency) down low in its range, and it can def sound like this.

Yeah if you know he's used an MXR BEF, I would say that's a safe bet. One of my all time favorite envelopes for this exact reason - I love that low range growly sound.

Not knowing anything about the band or associated gear, that's 100% an envelope filter into some kind of mild dirt.

UPDATE!!!

I went to Strait Music, tried out the MXR Bass Envelope, long story short, I loved it! I def don't wanna pay 180 though, so I will be finding a used one!
