Help me locate a CV 60's Precision

Does it look legit? Yes
See anything wrong? Yes
Lots of dings but looks purely cosmetic.
Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, especially at how hard they are to come by even more so in sonic blue.

Don't let the bridge cover throw you off. The sonic blue ones came with it instead off the brass bridge barrels. Those are the only differences between those 2 color options.

My CV60P is close to 9 lbs and CV50P is around 9.5 lbs, and my previous CV60J is close to 11 lbs!!

Is that a white pickguard, or the silver shiny one? Can't really tell... and loved the look!

Agree! Love to hear your impressions now that you found what you were looking for.
Me? Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I think it's a great looking, great sounding, smooth playing bass. Never gave too much thought to frets before but I'd have to say I'm now a big fan of "vintage frets".

Yes! I was lucky and managed to find one in mint condition for 350 dollars here in my country. I've stringed it with Jazz TIs and it truly has changed the way I approach the bass. I will post pics soon, as well as a little bit of insight regarding this amazing instrument!!

They truly are amazing. Mine wears T I Flats also. Perfect match to my ears and hands.

Yeah, like you throw a high quality early 60's style P pickup in there with some TI Flats and a good setup and BANG! PINO STYLE.

I don't care what anyone says, mint pickguards are the shizzle with any colour....

I've got an off white Matt Feeman and it's one of the nicest PBs I've ever owned. And I've owned a few over the years. It easily holds its own against any of my full blooded Fenders. Definitely one of the best necks I ever played.

And yes, it's more aggressive than the standard CV 60s due to a pickup Squier calls unique to the model. It was a little too aggressive for what I wanted it for, so I installed an Aguilar AG-40P in it. But I kept the original pups just in case I ever want to put it back to its original spec.

If you can't find a CV 60 don't shy away from a Matt Freeman. Highly recommended.

The Matt Freeman's are a gem. Even the stock pickup sounds great, with a nice understated treble response.
