The drummer has "moved on" to continue doing 80's stuff, with "real" 80's bands. Tours/recordings, etc...
I just can't/won't play covers. They have FUN. And do it RIGHT!!!

True. Members of the band I used to be in reformed and are now doing a lot of 90's music, which was the same music they played in another band IN the 90's. So, going back to their beginnings, and nostalgia for allSomeone who was 5 in 1980 is more likely to have fond memories of 80's songs than someone who was 21.

Exactly. Like it or not the 80's sells, at least in this neck of the woods. Lots of great harmonies in a lot of that stuff so if you're gonna do 80's be it rock, yacht rock, hair band etc you'd better be on your game harmony wise AND dress/costume if you wanna stand out. Voice of Experience...
