Didn't all those bands peak 20 years ago????As far as "too valuable to lose", if the three of you can't even agree on musical direction then there's nothing to be lost.

Tristania is one of the great gothic metal bands from Norway (e.g., theatre of tragedy, the sins of thy beloved). Now, their style has progressed and is a perfect blend between metal, classical/choral, and electronic styles. They have disapeared for a while, but I'm hopeful they will return with a new album. Their self-titled debut was a masterpiece and their most recent called World of Glass is one of my all time favs. The bass player is got a great sound too. Check 'em out.
