Ok I'm not very smart when it comes to the whole technical side of my bass but about 2 days ago my bass fell on the floor like slid off the side of my closet (i know i was stupid). Anyways when i plugged it into the amp it had a very bad connection like ifi moved around the connection to the amp got cut off or if i leaned a certain way it would also cut off. Can someone tell me what the problem is? And is it dear to repair cause i have a gig in a weeks time.

Help serious bass problem

It's either a bad cable or a bad output jack on the bass. Try another cable and see if the problem persists. If it still happens with a different cable then you have a bad output jack.
It may be a common problem but the thing is my bass fell soit may be damaged is it worth taking into a local guitar shop to have a look at it? and is it dear to replace if necessary?
It's fixable, but from your questions I think you would be best served to have a shop check it. Chances are it's either a bent output jack (if there was a cable plugged in) or a component or wire knocked loose.
