hey vince, i get strings from Conklin... they give me a deal. I use the Snakeskins and SIT.

Turns out it's just a four-string P-bass with a small painting of Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget on the pickguard. It's got five trussrods though.

You mean it's not Baron Von Rashke "The Claw" of Pro Wrestling fame? BTW he is now a substitute teacher in the Dakota County school district here in the Minneapolis area. Really.

None of us is really sure, cause Jean's keeping it under wraps to protect the children. My guess is it's an fanned fret Extreeme ERB taken to such an extreem that it is an afront to mother nature.

After that, the hardware will be chrome-plated (which will be another delay) and the last coat of finish will be put on, electronics installed - then final set up!

I have seen grainy, out-of-focus shots of the creature in question (kinda like the pics you see of Big Foot and "Nessie") and it -is- an abomination!!!
