Hiding your mini-amp

How about looking for some blue diamond contact paper to cover the front of the amp? Should take much skill to make a template of the knob cut-outs.

or maybe something like this: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Found it. Not that it matters to you. :ninja: But in case anyone reading was interested:

It belongs to "Johnny Atomic".

Hey, Johnny might like my cabs!

Why not just go to the hardware store and replace all the knobs with black ones for starters?

Then, if the rest of the yellow is still to offensive, you can always mask off the control names and then spray paint over the yellow.

OR...you could just take a piece of thick posterboard or foamcore board (which you can get in black), cut it to the same size as the front of the amp, and then just lean it (or velcro it) to the front of your amp when you aren't adjusting the controls. No one will see the front and you won't have to go through all the trouble.

1) Go to liquor store (like it already)
2)Spend a few bucks on wine or liquor
3)Ask for a nice, empty wooden wine crate
4) Drill a few holes in one side for the cables to slip through (even I can do that, LOL)
5) Place the LM2 in the crate on top of your cab, or place the crate over your head (not the one with the eyes and ears).

How about a piece of sheet metal bent to an "L" shape?

The bulk of it sits under the amp. The vertical part sticks up in front of the knobs, with clearance for you to fit your hand behind to work the knobs. Paint or cover it to match the cabinet. Make sure there are no sharp edges.

Clean, simple, no moving parts, no changes to the cab or amp.
