Does any company or any DIY or smaller effects companies build custom to order effects or Ab/y pedals - I am looking for custom switching setup that I can seem to buy off the shelf - i can get close - but not the exact flexibility I am looking for.

Is there a resource for parts and DIY builds - I think I can build what I want providing I can get the parts and some help with some of the specifics.

Not sure whether to call this a teaser or a request for inspiration, but the mailman just dropped off these Cold War era beauties. 20 6N28B dual triodes. I've got a couple of ideas about what to make with them, but anyone else any good ideas for a bunch of really small ex-Soviet mil-spec tubes?

Very interesting, thankyou. Those look like a good starting point. It's quite amazing how much "real tube goodness" you can fit into a (very warm) cigarette packet with these.

Just remember you are going to need a decent power supply for those. The heater alone will suck 300-400mA.

'bout 250mA each for these. Not particularly battery-friendly, but nothing a 1-spot or similar wouldn't be able to handle.
