do you like tweeters on your bass amps?
if yes, Warwick BC80 is very nice.
if not, a Rumble 100 will get you there.
I actually got rid of both, but still have my TC BG250-115 for larger events. for my home practice a Double Four is enough small, enough loud and enough good sounding. I do miss my Warwick combo sometimes, but not that much.
Well I haven't played the particular 410 you're using, which looks to be the PF410hlf in your avatar, but I'd think it has the capacity for brightness in it since the SVT 410hlf does. Does have a very deep bottom end, though, so that might be playing into it.I realise I'm comparing what I call 'bright' from my GK 212 to the Ampeg 410 and thats with the Ampeg at quite low master and gain volumes. Maybe a lower power driven harder might make the difference?
I just got an Ampeg PF50T and PF115HE cab and I love it.
What about a Ampeg Micro-VR.

Or a Ampeg PF-20T

Also the TC Electronic BH250 with Toneprint technology is a good choice. They are all small in stature but give out great tone.

The Micro VR is a better head than the Micro CL (as it should be), but even though the PF-50T is only 20w, I'd still rather have a tube head. That said, I've had a Micro VR for 8 years now and it's always delivered the goods.I recently sold a micro CL! How does the micro vr compare with the 20T for clarity etc? I see a popular UK online retailer has them on sale currently!
