MM basses with clear or no pickguard have never looked right to me. But on G&Ls it works. Go figure...

I have a honeyburst Ray with a rosewood neck . It came with the classic white guard and I was looking at something that might be a little more interesting until my wife mentioned that the white oval guard was like having a spotlight on my right hand .

Presuming "Rainbow" is a joke, I'd say anything but white. White pickguards always look "cheap" to me. White pearl OTOH looks badass.

To me the tort looks fine, but kinda expected. Looks like yer run of the mill bass. Nothing stands out. In this day and age of things popping, I think the pearl does a much better job of making the bass stand out. I'd go w the pearl.

LOL. The Warrior doesn't see much action right now. Been playing a lot of country lately so I have been sticking to the P and the Stingray5 mostly. That bass feels so nice, though.

Lots of different opinions here. That's good to see, but it looks like tort wins the day again.
