Jason Goes On A Cruise...errr, I mean, Jason Takes Manhattan is pretty awful, but I still like it better than Goes to Hell. The rooftop fight is probably my favorite part of the movie.

J.T.M. probably had the cheesiest character assortment since part 3- you just couldn't wait for the chick with the guitar to bite it.
Thankfully, we didn't have to wait very long!
I could never really get into the 13th movies....I dunno, they were always just "middle of the road" for me.
I was always an Elm Street guy....the combination of Freddy and the surreal atmosphere and FX were killer.
I'm whole-heartedly a Friday the 13th guy, but I still love the first Nightmare film. Wes Craven definitely hit the mark on that one!

Freddys are really hit or miss within the movies themselves. 1, 3, and New Nightmare were best, although I'm a big fan of part 2 which most people seem to hate.
"Låt den rätte komma in" was easily one of the best 'romantic horror' movies- one of the best films- in quite some time.

I liked "Nightmare" 1 the best, but the part with the pizza in part 4 was pretty funny
Agreed. A friend of mine told me about this movie and I really liked it. The ending was just pure awesome.

Watching Phantoms right now. For some reason it's hard to get into a horror flick with Ben Affleck in it.
It's funny you say that because I am trying to remember Wolf Creek. I am getting it confused with High Tension and I can't remember either one very well. Which one was the one with the truck driver?

High Tension had the "imaginary" truck driver and had the best death by bureau scene ever, Wolf Creek was the one in the Australian outback.
Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms...
We shall see. I'm only about 15 minutes into the movie. He just now appeared.
I'm bothered by the fact that, in this movie, it went from broad daylight to pitch black night in the span of three minutes though. Walking down the street from the sheriff's office into the restaurant it was daytime, then Affleck and his cohorts appear with flashlights a few minutes later in total darkness.
I hate blunders like that.

What I said was a quote from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Phantoms is a great silly action movie to watch. By no means is it a serious horror flick, but it is a fun one.
