Saw Hatchet two nights ago. I appreciate the director trying to insert humor into the movie and work off of some classic themes, it was overall a pretty weak movie. The digital film didn't look very good in the dark either, where most of the movie was shot.

I ordered "Saw V" from amazon - pretty good IMO. I wasn't sure where they could go from Saw IV, but they did, and it's easily as gory as Saw III ! I won't tell you anything - don't want to wreck it for you, but the story ended leaving you to wonder - Is there maybe a Saw VI in our future?

On a side note DO NOT rent the movie "The Happening" ... It almost seems like its going somewhere, and "where" it goes is to BIGTIME STUPID! What a waste of a round piece of plastic! I was just PO'ed at the dufus stupid ending :eyebrow:

It was kinda okay, but mostly not. The most unbelievable part of the movie wasn't the "bad guy"- it was Mark Wahlberg playing a soft-spoken timid guy. It was so over-the-top that it looked like he was doing a parody of someone else.

Captivity- no. Cuthbert herself said that pressure from above made them greatly change the idea behind the film (apparently it wasn't even supposed to be bloody). There are hints that it could have been good towards the end, but I'd give it an overall "meh."

Haven't seen Rest Stop.

Big fan of the 28 Days, 28 Months movies. Only zombie movies I enjoy.

The Saws were never my thing, I dont like just straight up gore. I want a stroy.

I was surprised with the gore in Watchmen. The whole Rorschauch prison cell scene? Yum.
