Horror movies

Well I just finished my lazy Sunday afternoon of watching "The Ruins"
One word....terrible.

It starts off ok, and about 40 minutes into it becomes just laughable. Horrific acting, ludicrous story, and some of the worst CGI I've seen. Just a fail on all levels, not even bad in a "campy but fun" way. Just awful.

Hmmm ... I thought the story itself was a little lame, but it had some nice looking girls, and some good gore in it.

I'm actually not a fan of Suspiria....I may be the only one. It's like a Blondie video stretched out an extra hour that's gone horribly wrong :D

Suspiria grew on me. I thought it was odd at first but now I really like the movie. But then I like a lot of Argento's work. This summer I spent a few weeks in Bologna and I was telling some of my friends there that I like a lot of Argento's movies and they were surprised and laughed at me a bit. They said he is popular there but maybe not quite as much as with the US crowd.

No one else I know shares my taste in movies, at least not this type of movie. Usually I just get glassy eyes or blank stares if I start talking about them.

Lol you're not the only one!
