Just buy a copy with the bonus stuff....well worth it. It's an interesting movie, in that the pacing is very off-kilter with a movie of this type....
Then it just spirals into hell
Just bought Audition and Suspiria on eBay, hopefully I got the right one (there were two different ones).

I saw one the other night that is a "based on actual events" movie called "The Strangers" with Liv Tyler that I thought was really intense - you won't look away on this one.

Hmmm ... I thought the story itself was a little lame, but it had some nice looking girls, and some good gore in it.
Bumping this back up from page three.....Audition and Susperia came in this morning so I'm going to pop one of them in before I fall asleep this morning. From the comments on the thread here I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Just fun'n with you guys. I'm a big fan of Cronenberg. The Brood and his remake of The Fly are among my favorites.
Glad I stumbled across this thread....No one else I know shares my taste in movies, at least not this type of movie. Usually I just get glassy eyes or blank stares if I start talking about them.

Suspiria grew on me. I thought it was odd at first but now I really like the movie. But then I like a lot of Argento's work. This summer I spent a few weeks in Bologna and I was telling some of my friends there that I like a lot of Argento's movies and they were surprised and laughed at me a bit. They said he is popular there but maybe not quite as much as with the US crowd.

Finished watching Audition today....Good movie, but I'd consider it more suspenseful/disturbing than actually horrific. I still like the beasties and ghoulies and nasties that go bump in the night horror to the slash and gore things, though both have their place.
