I dunno. I still think it was pretty good. At least I found it entertaining. Perhaps because I had no expectations going in.

Anyone see the thread about the Evil Dead musical? The movie clip on the website looks awesome!! Unfortunately it's not going to be playing in Denver. :atoz::crying:

Well Shock Waves was bad. Really bad. But I enjoyed it anyway. :D It should have been called Aqua Nazi Zombie Island. The lesson of the story is that if you ar ever attacked by nazi zombies, go for the goggles. It has a sunlight on a vampire type effect. :rolleyes::D

Next up is a collection of 4 Hammer vampire films from the 70s starring Christopher Lee. One of them looks like it could have some disco in it. Terrifying...

What better thread to bring back from the dead than this one. Now that I have my cool horror movie avatar. :D So... yeah. Saw the crazies this weekend. Plot holes and expected ridiculousness aside, it had potential to be a lot better but IMO it fell short of delivering true fright. It was almost unnecessarily shocking with the gore. Some parts were pretty cool though.

Where are all the good horror flicks these days? I have to keep rewatching old favorites to get my fix. :rolleyes:

Only George Romero can give a zombie equestrian skills and expect folks to like it being he is the father of Zombie films as we know them. Sounds a little far fetched but I can let George have that one. The last one I saw he made was the one that was shot with a handheld camera, like a home movie. I couldn't bear to watch it as I really don't care for that home made look in a film. The Blair Witch Project took horror in a bad direction, as far as I am concerned....

If you didn't like Diary, you probably won't like this one either regardless of your feelings on equestrian steeplechase.:hiding:

That would be the main focus of a horror film, but Us horror/sci-fi nerds out there get way into breaking down the plot and story line. We are kind of like the guys you see tasting wine, we wanna sip and talk about how great or not so great the glass of wine is. I don't understand wine so to me "wine" will allways taste like "wine".

That film made every jackass with a video camera think they could make a "hit" Horror film for 10 grand. I Honestly wish that back in the 80's Romero would've had the cash to make Day of the dead the three hour zombie epic he had envision. It would've been truly awesome.

Anybody here see the film "Human Centipede"? It's a great film, simultaneously cheesy, gross, and scary. Fun to watch, in short.

It's very much in the spirit of the horror film "B-movies" of the 60s-70s, but it's very well produced and very slick looking, with great effects. Definitely gets my bid for one of the most memorable films of recent history.

Probably the cheapest (and therefore perhaps the funniest) is called TROLL 3.

Most famous line in the movie, most cheaply delivered with the cheapest stuff happening is the nerd saying in horror:
"They're eating her...then they're gonna eat me...oh my gooooooooooddddddddd!"

Look up that clip on the internet--------hilarious!!!!!
