Yeah. It seems pretty, but is probably Warmoth parts put together. I bet it plays and sounds great, but probably not "hand built" by a pro. More like hand "assembled" by a guy who likes wood grain.

I like natural finishes, but this doesn't do it for me.
Maybe it would look a little better to me with a pickguard on it.

Ditto for me. Natural wood finishes are my favorite "color" but this bass has nothing to highlight a bunch of dark wood. Just kinda blah, IMO...

That said: even though I'd never buy it, I still think it's hot! The black korina goes well with wenge.

Seriously, put a pickguard on there (tort, anodized gold, maybe black) and I'd be in but I don't care for p basses without a guard. Agree price is too high. Maybe a grand?

Not wild about the looks - and annoyed that none of the pictures show the back of the neck and body. Probably plays/sounds pretty good, but with the Korina body and Wenge neck, I'd worry about more-than-usual neck dive.
