Hot or Not? YOU Be The Judge!

Love the looks and I think it would sound really interesting. However I wouldn't pay $1450 for that...specifically since it's essentially a no-name parts-bass and none of us know who put it together or if they knew what they were doing.
 
Price is too high for a parts bass, sure quality components tho'

Those Hipshot are HB2 tuners... they're not matte black at all:
they're the authentic Hipshot black, so on them I'd put a BT2 bass extender

A bridge Quarter Pound J pickup (or one more split) wouldn't hurt either and the suggestion, on a bass like that, of a DiMarzio (maybe a Classic ModelP) is not a bad one considerin' that combo

Europe's John Levén used to play somethin' like that on his Glenn Hughes' days.
