I love your replies.....

:( Where's the "blush" emoticon when you need it?

... oh wait, I found this instead :atoz:.

Yip! That'll do :p!

I have got it all off now.....I'm just praying that the finish isn't too badly affected......:bawl:

Don't worry ;), it's nothing that some black boot polish and one of these can't fix :) ....

I'll see in a few days when I have a performance....I love this bass......

Seriously, you are epic win. Firstly you FIND me a Shergold (remember?) and then when I do something stupid then you rescue me!

Fender32 for Prime Minister! :D

Whilst most of continental America are busy reading this and chanting, "Get a room you two! Get a rooooooooom!" :eyebrow:, I'll simply say that it's always a pleasure for me to spend other people's money on eBay :D and I'm glad that you and your bass are still together after all these (two ?) years.

If your bass can withstand being bathed in your digestive juices :atoz: and still come back for more, then the bond that you have between you can only get stronger :smug:.

In the meantime, you might wanna consider making it sleep outside tonight and getting some new strings first thing tomorrow morning :hmm:.

It's a shame I couldn't sig this.......this is the most epic thing I've ever read.

I've actually had the bass only 10months (a year this August).

I was planning to restring it anyway.........looks like I'm going to have to do it now.

Are you a guitarist?

 It's a trap!!!!!

No Fass, I used to be a guitarist and then my finger arthritis got so bad that I had to quit trying to squeeze down all of those silly little chords :spit: and go back to playing with one fat string at a time :smug: (so that I could keep my fingers straight and avoid putting excessive pressure on the middle joints :().

Besides, I think more like a bassist than a guitarist :hmm:. Whenever I hear the intro to a song, the first thing that goes through my mind is, "Boom, bah boom, bah bah bah, boom bah boom" etc. :smug:. Can't be arsed with all of that twiddling any more ;).
