How do you get banned from TalkBass?

I've briefly met and spoken with a banned member on the phone when I was more involved in MI industry years ago. It wasn't Jeff Berlin. Online or in real life, exactly the same.

I have a good record so I may or may not get banned saying this but if you seek to learn some TB ban history, there's a place....I am not saying this to reignite an old fire especially since peace is made. I am making a forum recommendation to our friend the OP.

This is a good place if you like a frat boy culture with some unruly sometimes low brow, no holds bared OT. The black sheep, run away, b@stard child of the bass forum family. The Amsterdam of bass forums. If you check it out tell the frat boys I said hi. It's a fun place to visit. basstalk247

Things that get you banned here....go say Geddy or rush sucks and set your watch. Can't tell you in what order it will happen but either you will be banned or someone will come to your house and will insert a Geddy Lee sig bass somewhere...sure you can figure out what I am talking about. Also if you ever test that theory pray the person ferociously shoving the bass also doesn't have Taurus pedals or Neil Pearts drum set.

I have seen a few carrot infractions in polls but what ever you do never EVER list parsnips as an option in a poll.

Hell I'D ban 'em and I don't even have the power. Ya don't call a former serviceman a Nazi 'round these parts, Savvy lawdog?

For the most part the mods give a flag, and kick ya back into the scrum. If you are a bit thick you might be benched for a bit. If you're a mouth breather you might get a permanent vacation. In all instances the ball is entirely in your court. Until it isn't.
