How do you like your burger cooked ? I take mine medium well , I dont like any meat that is still pink in the middle.

it's weird - other than going to the states, i've *never* been asked how i want my burger done. In Canada, it's always cooked all the way through. if you asked for a burger medium-rare or (gulp) rare in canada, you'd likely get a pretty strange look.

I thought it was the strangest thing to get asked in the US... something about ground beef that isn't cooked makes me really squeamish, esp considering the ecoli issues (I assume there is nothing to worry about here since so many people eat them like this, but i'm just paranoid

Ground beef is very susceptible to contamination because of the greater surface area.

That being said, I like mine medium rare. Juicy!

Because of the way burger is processed, it needs to be cooked to at least 160 degrees. Therefore, I grill my burgers to 155 degrees then take them off the grill and cook internally to about 160 degrees. In beef terms this is considered medium.
