How do you like your hot dogs !!!

Bacon wrapped LA hot dog.

They broil to perfection in their casing of bacon, and are topped with onions, mayo, mustard, onions, green peppers and ketchup - and of course a nice grilled chili. A Los Angeles classic.

All around (mustard, onion and sweet relish) with ketchup. Should be a natural casing and can be boiled, grilled, fried or steamed.

Fenway park has the best dog in any ballpark east of the Missisippi (personal experience). They also have a hotdog vending machine. Only serves Kosher dogs which I find a little smokey.

Guissepie's in Newton, MA on Mondays does sliced franks with pepperoni and gravy (red sauce) with cheese. Well worth the price of admission. Get there early, not guarenteed to last past 1:30. Or three for $3 on Thursday.

Steamed in Beer and either Chili with Mustard or Sauerkraut with Mustard. I like to keep them simple. I don't drink beer but it sure gives hot dogs a nice flavor and the alcohol evaporates.

American hot dogs look like an art form! Much better than the cack you'll find in Britain...I might just have to check one out when I'm in the USA!

You really should!

We buy Nathan's when they're on special. Or the kosher ones...they tend to taste better. My husband loves Coney Island Red Hots, and we get them every time we see them at the store. (You can take the boy out of NYC, but you can never quite get NYC out of the boy...LOL!)

I prefer my dawgs grilled on the pit, and served one of three ways, in order of preference: 1) sauerkraut and brown mustard, 2) chili/cheese with a little mustard, or 3) any kind of mustard and dill pickle relish (not sweet relish). I also love a good corn dog...crispy on the outside, tender and steaming on the inside. Brown mustard, please!

I really find them better grilled, but my family likes them steamed or boiled, so sometimes I fix 'em like that.
