it's all good...just think that when a pig (or hog!) is butchered that absolutely nothing goes to waste that should make all of the tree huggers happy...you don't see many of those types eating hotdogs, though...kinda ironic, that, no?

I mean, my hot dogs depend on my mood... Most of the time it's a chili dog mood but i'd never turn down a plain one as well...

Only one thing is a must on my hot dog, the dog shall be bigger then a bum... there is no other way!

The best dog' ive eaten was first grilled then fried , amazing.
I just like them with french mustard , some grilled onions and some hot sauce.
Cant stand boiled hot dogs at all , its slimey :S They need to be beef or lamb.

normally when you buy hotdogs at the supermarket you'll see that they're marked 'wieners' or 'franks'...more often than not, the franks are beef or a beef and pork mixture, while the wieners are pork...traditionally, it's the other way around...the franks, from frankfurt (the frankfurter!) were pork and the weiners from vienna were beef or beef/pork...i know this because my wife always buys the wrong one at the store...of course, i have to preach to her about the proper way to consume a hotdog and what animal must be slain to produce such hotdog...she still don't get it...i just tell her to get the red oscar mayer bun length 'red' hotdogs...please don't buy the 'blue'

that said...a grilled dog is quite yummy...fried, though an odd idea, is one of those things that just works...kinda like bologna...

Yeah i like a good pork dog , but its hard to find a really good hot dog here. And the good ones are mostly beef
