I like mine all beef, thick and juicy with good buns. Not those flat, flabby buns. I like the Jumbo Dogs, not the skinny, wimpy weiners.
Wait, what are we talking about again?

Ketchup DOES NOT GO on hot dogs. Or brats.

In the bin! Gimme a burger anyday!
Zhuk, Tchina, Hummus, a little bit of ketchup and mustard and a pickle.

Corn dogs, y'all!
On a stick, dipped in cornmeal batter, then deep-fried. Slathered w/mustard.
Mmmm, carnival season is almost here!
Otherwise, I like 'em on someone else's plate, not mine.
I know what hummus is, but what are zhuk and tchina?
Cherie![]()
Zhuk is a combination of the spiciest spices you can find (Green hot pepper, red hot pepper, garlic, and other spices like salt and perhaps even black pepper). What I like about the original Zhuk made in Yemen is that it actually TASTES GOOD, compared to other spice-ers that really ruin the taste of the whole dish.
Zhuk is pronounced simply as written. Z as in Zoro. And the H should be heard very well. Like. Z-CHHHuk.
Tchina is a dip that usually goes together with Hummus, is made of Sesame seeds but is strictly not for everyone. Just like some people who dislike the taste of mustard or mayonnaise or whatever.![]()
