My Mesa WD 800 wants to vibrate all around and over the edge of my Ampeg SVT 4x10 cab even when its being used at a pretty moderate volume level. I can't believe I am the first bass player to confront this vexing problem and I am sure there is an obvious solution that I am missing which I will shortly learn. Thank you.

How do you prevent your Class D High Power Amp from Vibrating Off the Cabinet?

You're not the first and there are other threads about this exact issue.
Stick a mouse pad between the amp and cabinet. A piece of kitchen drawer mat or any other such material. works fine.

Some cabinets have more vibration of their top panels which contribute to this.
Kitchen drawer may, tool box mat, mouse pad, bar mat, piece of yoga mat are all good solutions when this is encountered.

I used to keep mine on my board. Quilter's cabs have a space built for their heads so I just use that now.
Yep, it's been discussed here before. I also use an old mouse pad, that in addition helps a little bit with the cab vibrations affecting the head electronics. Velcro is an option as well.

AMAZON.. rubber bar mat. About 10 bucks. Rolls up into amp carry bag as well.
I mounted my WD into a rack with a glorified power strip (actually a so-called surge protector because the WD's power switch is on the back of the unit…

I used to have a Rumble 410 and head and it had magnetic pockets to accept the feet of the head.
Absolutely genius, but it only worked worth that head.

Great timing. I have a D-800+ that was turning sideways on a 2 x15 stack. Really made me paranoid that it would end up on the floor. Then the drummer said: "Put a towel under it". Can you believe that?
I use a microfiber towel, bright yellow, looks ridiculous and works great
Mouse pad, towel, velcro? Oh, and don't forget to run your cable through a cab handle for the "just in case" catastrophic avoidance.

Velcro adhesive gets pretty messy when it gets warm sitting in the sun. It can also damage some vinyl materials. I don't recommend it.
It's 12x18 from a company called BON BON. No longer available on Amazon..
