How long have you played? :)

Started playing DB when I was 10 years old (1961), got my first slab bass (1963 Fender P) in '63 when I was 12, played my first paid gig when I was 12 .... played for pay full time until 1994, very busy part time (averaging 140 dates a year) until last year.

Now, at the age of 60, I only do gigs that I really want to play. Mostly jazz using either a DB or a 6 string Barker Bass, blessed to work with some very good musicians for a decent pay check .... Loving playing now more than ever before

edit: for those that can't count, been playing for 50 years

Started in 1968... playing more than ever now.
