How many amps do you guys own?

So Anyway, I've got an Orange Tiny Terror and matching 2x12 cab where the speakers are piggy-backed. This one quit at a gig but my electronic buddy took it home and got it to working again. Since it failed, it sits in my music room.
My gigging rig is a Carvin 15 micro cab with a lightweight Beringher 350 head. It's never failed me.
Also have a Peavey power amp... I guess I could us that with my SansAmp.
Funny that my most expensive stuff sits at home!

Currently one. I never say having a backup or few is a bad idea...however unless you're a collector I never see the idea of having more than a few for use at any time. One is usually all you need to get the basic job done a lot of the time.

I agree. The only amp in my collection that I have gigged is my GK 700RB/112 combo. Pretty sure I have done less than 5 gigs on bass since I started collecting. I've always been a bit of a gearhead though.

Ampeg SVT-CL for almost all gigs, Traynor SB500H when the Ampeg is overkill.

With some of my projects we rehearse at my place, in my "studio", so Ampeg it is. Some other projects I need to go to the rehearsal studio, Traynor it is.

an ampeg ba 115 1x15" speaker, for most giggs
a head and a 2x10" speaker cabinet, for small giggs or less space to take mi equipment
a laney lx10b (10 watts, 5" speaker) for practising at home or some quiet rehersals
and i finally bought a vox amplug 2 for practising with headphones anywhere, and simplier in connections

I always bring a Preamp/di style pedal as a backup. I tend to buy ones that can double as an overdrive pedal (sans amps, darkglass) so they have multiple uses and aren’t only a “just in case” item

-Fender Rumble 30 tiltback combo 30 watts into a 10" for small spaces and low volumes

-Fender Rumble 350 head and two Fender 115s. So far I have only needed one-but have used two anyway!

GK MB112ii and MBP112 stack for higher volumes (rock/punk gigs), Rumble 40 v2 for lower volumes (jazz gigs).

I will say that I think the Rumble 40 might be the most under rated amp i've ever come across IMO. I tried to replace it twice with a high end small combo amp, and both times shrugged my shoulders, returned it, and kept the rumble. I'll also say that I didn't like the Rumble 100 that I owned.
