There are a dozen threads asking how many basses people here currently have. I am curious to know how many amps people currently have. I am going to allow the inclusion of combos since not everyone needs a dedicated head.
This excludes cabs. That would be another topic for another day.
Current ownership only, please. Not a laundry list of every amp you have ever owned.
I have four bass amps and one guitar amp. I use two of the bass amps all the time; keep one as a back-up to use as needed (gigged with it for 2 to 3 months while my main amp was in the shop); have another amp that I never use, and a recent thrift shop find of a Fender Mustang guitar amp.
Here's the lowdown.
• Eden WT500/800 (400 watts rms per channel @ 4 ohms, 800-watts rms bridged)
This is my big amp and I use it for most gigs. It was a 500-watt bridged into 8 ohms amp that was upgraded by the founder of Eden to 800-watts bridged into 8 ohms. He used this particular amp on his design bench when he was designing new speakers and cabs. I run it bridged at 800 watts into my DNS-410 cab (1400-watts power handling) and any large, outdoor, or festival. It weighs about 36-lbs in its rack.
When I use my two EX112 cabs together, I'll also use that amp but will run it in dual mono because my EX112's are 4 ohm versions and with a total of a 2 ohm load can't be bridged. Each power channel will produce 400-watts at 4 ohms, so I plug one into each of them I'll use this set up at medium size to large-medium sized venues.
• Eden TN226 (225-watts rms @ 4 ohms)
This is a 225-watt class D amp I specifically bought for playing a small brewpub where we host an open mic on Friday nights. I put the amp, speaker cord, and power cord into its shoulder bag, grab my EX112 cab in one hand and my bass in its case in the other hand and I can load in and out very quickly.

Eden Nemesis RS400 (400-watts rms @ 4 ohms)
This was the first Eden amp I ever bought and I still keep it as a back up. I had to use it as a back up for about 3-months when my WT500/800 was in the shop. It doesn't have that touch of warmth that my WT500/800 does, but the sound is very similar. It didn't bother me at all to use it with the DNS-410 while my primary was in the shop. I also used it a few times with the single EX-112 before I got my class D amp. Weight is 19-lbs. - my class D amp is 4.7-lbs.
• GK Backline 250 (125-watts rms @ 8 ohms)

I bought this amp back in about 2006 or so as I was trying to get gigable gear together and I didn't have much money. I had used some GK gear many years ago and it was great! So I found this "Brat Pack" for sale and grabbed it. Worst piece of gear I ever bought. It came with the GK-115bpx cab which is just super boomy. No matter what I did, this thing just put out a muddy roar. AND, it can only handle an 8 ohm load. I added a Sunn cab to it because the Sunn B202 (212 cab) had both a parallel and a series out.
So I plugged the Sunn into the amp and the GK115 into the Sunn "
series" output. That gave me a 12 ohm load (8 + 4
in series = 12 ohm load) that I could safely use with this amp. Although it dropped the power from 125-watts RMS down to about 85-watts, the extra two 12's gave me an overall increase in volume besides a much better sound. It may be that it was just the cab that was the problem, but I haven't used this amp since 2008 when I bought my RS400.
I have no plans on using this amp anytime in the near future. One thing I did with it before I retired it though, was slave it to my Eden RS400. So I was using the preamp from my RS400 plugged into the effects-in of the GK amp. That bypassed the GK preamp and sent the Eden preamp signal to the GK power section. That was used to drive the 115 cab while my RS400 powered the acoustic 410 I had at the time. It was fun because that GK set-up then sounded like an Eden set-up. I retired it quickly though because I could run both cabs from my RS400. The GK115 would get more power from my RS400 (200-watts) than it could from the Backline 250. So no need to carry around an extra amp. I retired that GK amp that night.
• Fender Mustang v2 guitar amp (20-watts rms @4 ohms)
It's a small modeling amp with 20-watts RMS and an 8" speaker. Since I currently have 3 electric guitars and no guitar amps, I bought this one. I actually walked into a Value Village (a little nicer than the local Goodwill) to buy an Hawaiian shirt for a private party we were playing. I had no intention of buying a guitar amp. Brought my son with me and while we were just browsing around, he found this amp. We plugged it in to make sure it would come on and it did. This is a $119.99 amp and it still had the original "features" hang-tag on it. And the price was.........$15. So yeah, I bought it. I plugged in my "free" Strat knock-off and it sounded good. It has a slew of presets and I really like the sound of the '65 Twin Reverb preset.
My Sunn B202 cabinet that I mentioned earlier is a 4 ohm cab and this little amp will do 4 ohms. Th Sunn cab is also only a 100-watt power handling cab, so this little 20-watt guy might drive that 2x12 cab just fine. I'll have to give it a try.
