How many amps do you guys own?

Three Ampeg’s, CL, 350, & micro VR. The CL because, 350 too cheap not to buy, Micro for home use.
One GK 700 rb II ( with Tech 21 RBI or RPM ).
I’ve recently sold a 700 rb II with RBH cabs and gave another to my nephew.
Not an amp but sold recently a 8x10 too. So down to one 8x10 and 4x10 for shows and the 2x10 W/ micro head.

nice. I’m thinking of getting two of the 2x12’s since I’ve sold some gear recently. How do you compare them to 10’s ? Are the 12’s “closed” or ported ? I’ll try before buying but always good to hear from others too. Thanks

I've only ever used them with the V4b and they sound great. They are ported (see the picture). The 212 cabs are deeper (16" vs 11") and so have better low end than the 210s. Also, I can crank the V4b and get fantastic natural tube growl. I think 2x212s would be phenomenal with the CL and easier to lug than an 810.


I had to open it up because the front to back support was loose and vibrating.

Currently, 3 amps, although the littlest one barely counts... Eden Nemesis 150 combo (currently bearing a wounded power cap that I should probably get repaired, it's a decent little amp I paid $25 bucks for), Traynor Bass Mate 10 combo... (yes, 10w, but it's so CUTE!), Traynor Small Block 500 with a pair of Yorkville cabinest, namely a TC210 and an XC150X. In the past I've had Basson, Yorkville, more Traynor, some GK... even an Ampeg, which went back after 2 weeks of gigging it because the chiropractor bill was killing me. I do admit, the Basson was heavy af too.. but it was worth it LOL.

Zero bass amps. I have this Henriksen JazzAmp Ten with 120 watts that I bought when I had electric guitars. It has Bluetooth and is probably overkill for a bedroom practice amp. I also just got a Fender Mustang Micro headphone amp for travel. I really don’t need anything else but it’s hard to stop looking.

So Anyway, I currently own 4.
I'll own 5 as soon as I come across a pristine Kustom Tuck & Roll in Red or Blue Sparkle.
It won't have to work....just needs to look good.
It'll be my Trophy Amp!

Interestingly, I have 6 guitar amps as well... and 8 standalone guitar / bass rack preamps (although two are paired with power amps and also counted in the guitar amps). Still... more spaces in the rack to fill...

How many amps do I own? Just this one, although I frequently get lazy and rehearse using the Rumble 100v3 that my band leader keeps in his project studio. I suppose that all Rumbles must not sound like his does, or else that TB club wouldn't have >1500 members !!

The BA108 is a great practice rig . It's a small combo that sounds like an Ampeg . I don't have any pictures but I put more time in on the small combo than any of the other rigs .

Two. I go back and forth between them. However, I tend to use my Peavey more as my main (especially when using two cabs) and my GK as my backup (usually when using just one cab).

2. Aguilar AG500 (havent used in years)

3. Aguilar TH500 (daily driver, goes everywhere. Used daily)

4. GK Backline 600 (home practice amp, and often used recording. Used often)

5. Fender Super Twin heavily modified... sort of like a Studio Bass but not exactly. (Occasional use)
