The unkillable old standby Fender BXR 300 and a Randall 2-10 cab. Rat fur notwithstanding, this rig has seen me through decades of misadventures and the only letdown was overheating on the fateful Fourth of July parade float from hell gig. Fairly lightweight and the head is rack mounted with a few other things like a BBE and an effects processor.

Randall RB-120 head. Used sparingly, usually through a Fender Showman cab with a 15" JBL. The Rhodes piano works well with this rig.

Rumble 75 wedge combo. Great for studio work.

Don't usually need big power. Let the PA do the heavy lifting. These also serve well as monitors in some situations. If more is needed, they get rented and promptly returned. No need to fill the house up with expensive gear that goes mostly unused. It's bad enough I have to lug an appendix around everywhere I go. Shoulda got rid of it along with the tonsils.

Not enough and too many at the same time. I’m looking for a new amp to go on the active player list. Leaning toward Ampeg PF-500 or Peavey Mini Max. Looking to see if the Ampeg is reliable these days.

Active players;
  1. GK MB 500 - currently #1, usually driving a Fender Rumble 115 and an Ampeg SVT 210 AV
  2. Peavey T-Max - backup.
  3. GK MB150e 112 + matching 112 extension cab - small gigs and upright bass amp. Amp section on the way back from GK in Stockton, CA. 3rd repair since 2007.
Disabled list;
  1. Ampeg B-15T flip top. Amp section is no longer used due to buzzy distortion on everything. Cab & speaker Ok
  2. Fender Studio Bass “head” 180 watt all tube. Still works well but has an annoying hum. Going to doc soon.
  3. Ampeg V2 guitar head - 60 watt all tube, practice only. Best sounding amp I own.

Not enough photos in this thread. :bored:
Here's most of mine:-

I voted 4:

- The Big Rig® aka a rack containing Alembic F-1X preamp and Alembic SF-2 "SuperFilter" into a Crown CE1000 power amp
- Acoustic Image Focus 1 Series II
- tc electronic BQ500
- Polytone MiniBrute III combo amp

I have 3 -

Fender Rumble 15 circa 2005 (first practice amp)

SWR SM400 and a broken down Goliath III

Ampeg PF500 with 115 cab - later rev board and has never given me issues

I somewhat regret getting rid of my old workhorse solid state Yorkville 100 w amp. It was perfect for rehearsing, pretty light, and the XLR out was the main reason I used it over my bigger rigs [edit: because I played through the PA so frequently anyway]. I got attached to it as a blank canvas and crafted my tones with another preamp.

Oh boy, let's see...currently:
  1. Sunn 200s
  2. Sunn 2000s
  3. Sunn 2000s
  4. Sunn 1000s
  5. Hiwatt DR103
  6. Acoustic 360
  7. Acoustic 300
  8. Acoustic 370
  9. Fender Champion 600 (primarily my bench/test amp, have rigged it into a cab for bass once or twice)
With potentially another Acoustic or two in the works. I'd like to get a Marshall Major or Super 100 again (see below).

Amps I have owned and let go:
  1. Sunn 1200s
  2. Marshall Super 100
  3. Ampeg B2R (I think that was the model?)
  4. Fender Bassman 300pro
  5. Peavey Super Festival Booster
  6. Sundry other low-wattage combos used starting out (Crate, Fender Frontman, etc)

Current cabs:
  1. Sunn 2000s 2x15 (JBL D-140)
  2. Sunn 2000s 2x15 (JBL D-140)
  3. Sunn 2000s 2x15 (JBL K-140)
  4. Sunn 1000s 2x15 (JBL D15s)
  5. Homebuilt 2000s 2x15 ( JBL K-140, unloaded, being refurbished)
  6. Sunn 1200s 6x12 (being refurbished, bit of a basket case)
  7. Homebuilt 1x15 (JBL E-140)
  8. Homebuilt 1x15 (JBL E-140)
  9. Vox AD412
  10. Vox AD412
  11. Acoustic 361
  12. Acoustic 301
Sold cabs
  1. Ampeg B25 2x15
  2. Crate USA custom 412
  3. Crate USA custom 412

I think...I THINK that's everything...I know there was an SWR and Ampeg 4x10HLF in there but I don't think I owned those?
