Mesa M2000
Ampeg SVT-3 Pro
Crate Powerblock
Hartke HA 3500

Plus numerous stereo power amps from Crown, QSC, Peavey, and Carvin, that I sometimes use with rackmounted bass preamp and processing.

I really need to sell off at least half of this stuff. :D

I made that post in 2019.

I made some changes during the pandemic and quit my gigging band and also moved to a new home last year and took the opportunity to update my home music studio.

The only amp from that list that I still have is the Mesa M2000, which I use for practicing and recording in my home studio.

As part of the changes I made since I now play with a new rock cover band, the Ampeg SVT 3 and Hartke 3500 are gone as my main/backup gigging amps and I replaced them with an Ampeg SVP Pro preamp into a Crown XTI2000 (main amp) and a Traynor SB200 (backup).

But, I realized that I prefer the Mesa tone more than Ampeg, so I just sold the Ampeg SVP Pro and bought a Mesa D350.

I expect it to arrive tomorrow, just in time for our gig this coming Saturday.

Currently, 3 with a fourth coming.
Peavey Firebass 700
Sunn Bass Coliseum 300
Fender Frontman 15G(yep! Heresy!)
and a Orange Bass Terror coming.
Cabinets:
Sunn(Fender) HF410 -in storage, too damn heavy
2 Acme Low B2's
and an old Ashdown 1x15 -in storage, no room

One amp for band use (Ashdown Klystron), although I more often play on backline gear or just go ampless these days. Gotta have the stack available for making some proper noise when I can though.

For home use, I go direct into my home studio setup, basically utilising my ampless setup (HX Stomp and Darkglass Photon).

Since I've only been playing bass since last Tuesday (literally) I only have the one. An Orange Crush Bass 25.

If I ever get good enough, and if I ever play anywhere other than church (where I'd just use their amp), or my bedroom, I can see myself adding one of the bigger versions later.
A year and a half later, I'm still loving the baby Orange. Since I got a Darkglass Alpha Omega, I now want another Crush 25 so I can run them in parallel. One clean, one distorted.

Since my college days I have always owned at least two, a main and a backup. Right now I technically have four bass amps in rotation.

• Trickfish Bullhead 1K head, 2x TF112 cabinets - main electric rig (sometimes I'll pair a 112 with the Bag End 18 below)
• Bag End PQ10BX-N, IPS18E-N powered cabinets, usually with Millennia TD-1 preamp - festival gigs/rehearsal space rig
• Markbass Big Bang head as backup
• Grace Labs FELiX2 preamp, Gallien-Krueger MB150S-III combo for upright/doubling

I have about 9 right now

Ashdown 12 Band 600 x3 (Ill explain)
Ashdown RM500
Ashdown CTM Little Stubby
Eden WT550
Markbass Little Mark Tube 800
Acoustic B50C
Acoustic B100C

The 12 band 600s are my main amps, In my rig I have two of them in a rack. I use one to run my cabs, and one to run my monitors. I do a fair bit of EQing and like having instant access to my feed in the monitors at all time. (Got this trick from Mark King)

And if I ever need the power (I doubt I will) I can use both for cabs. (600w a head)
