How many amps (heads) do you have?

I do not hold on to amps quite like I do basses. At this point I have 3 amplifier heads.

Ampeg PF50T
Ashdown CTM15
SWR Workingman's 4004

Prior to getting the PF50T and CTM15, I had a Quilter Bass Block 800 and Genzler Magellan 350. Both were great, but more power than I currently need. If I am ever after something higher output at this point, I would likely buy a Genzler Kinetix 800 or wait for the Quilter Bass Block 803.
If I may ask : how different the PFT50T is compared to the CMT15 ?

I'm asking because I want to buy either one of these and I’m looking for a sweet sounding tube amp but don’t want any flabby or slow bass notes as I usually play some fast paced songs.

GK RB 400-II : got rid of it because of noisy pots, lot of hum and hiss

Traynor SB 200 H : this is my back up head, very punchy and not overly detailed

Mesa Subway D350 : my main bass amp, almost perfect in every way, enough power on tap to feed my two GK 112 Neo IV cabs (8 ohms each), even with a loud drummer

Ampeg RB 112 combo : my amp for playing with acoustic instruments and no drum, typical Ampeg sound IMO, fat and sweet

My "dream" amp : Aguilar hybrid DB 751 : heavy, costly but this amp has everything !

Man....a lot.
Several Genz Benz
Epifani
Several Ampeg
Three Ashdown
Sadowsky SA200
SWR SM400 that I bought new in 1985
Trace Elliot HexaValve

other stuff
As a new owner of a Quattra valve, I’d love to find the other valve heads from trace. The sadowsky is probably harder to find

I can't compete with Wasnex and some other folks, but:

Blackface Fender Bassman (1965 or '66) paired with D140 Showman tone-ring cab. My "office amp".
Plush 1060S paired with a Kustom 215 with Kustom-badged EV SRO15 drivers. Sounds fine, drips funk.
Sunn 200S all original with it's original D140 215 cab. The "other office" amp.
Sunn Model T gen2 (has mid-switch). Pro-maintained, works perfectly but I don't use it much and would sell it but for the sentimental thing.
Thunderfunk 550b because it's a Thunderfunk 550b.
Acoustic 150b.
(2) GK 400RB first gen/grey cord. I like these a lot even if they are a little hissy at idle. It's the first one I'd leave at a remote rehearsal spot. I have a line on a third which I will buy if the guy ever responds to his FB ad.
GK 700RB series II. I typically use this one with a GK 412 neo. It's a thing.
Markbass Little Mark 58R. I think I like these.

...also three Markbass combos (one is quite modified), one ea GK MB150E, Rumble 40, Rumble 100.
How is the combo modified? Curious

Marshall dbs 7400
Genz Benz gbe 1200
Gk fusion 550
Phil jones m500
Peavey vb3
1981 vox 125 tube bass amp
Aguilar db359, db750 (needs work)
Mesa mpulse 600, walkabout , and a buster (both need tech work)
Ashdown lb30
Trace Elliot v4 , Quattra valve
More coming soon..

Very different flavors IMO. PF50T is classic Ampeg sound. Mostly clean, but you can get breakup if you push it. EQ section on the Ampeg is more powerful than on the Ashdown. CTM15 is more about playing with gain staging/overdriven tones. If you keep the gain knob down, it can stay clean. It gets dirty really quick with a little bit of gain. Gain knob basically just dials in overdrive.

If I am picking between the two, I am taking the PF50T every time. The CTM15 is a good little head, but the PF50T is closer to the sound I am chasing and more versatile for me (since I am not after versatility of overdriven tones, which seems to be where the CTM15 excels).

Note my CTM15 is the version that released last year (no load required).
