How many amps (heads) do you have?

Rocking an old 400rb and while it is good, I’d like something that could go to 2 ohms. I’d also like a different flavor of sound.

I don’t need a lot of watts. Interested in either old amps - SS or tube hybrid - as well as newer production amps.

I play with a pic, tube to Eb and lower. Use some OD/distortion in addition to clean playing so I’m looking for something that works well with pedals.

Zero! I got a GK 212 combo and just moved it into storage because it was taking up space. I almost never have gigs that need amps anymore, we’re all IEM these days.

Reactions: 31HZ and JRA
Two:
  • GK Legacy 800
  • Genz-Benz Streamliner 900
These amps have VERY different "personalities" and my preference depends on the day/mood/context.
i.e. I typically lean on the Legacy for funkier things and the Streamliner when I want a more vintage vibe.

I can mix and match them with three different speaker cabs: custom 2x12, Euphonic Audio 210, GK Neo 112

If it's a REALLY big venue, I can combine ALL of it with the aid of a Radial ABY

I have two myself - an Eden WT550 running a D210XLT and an Acme Low B2, and an SWR Super Redhead combo with an unknown 1x15 cabinet.

The Super Redhead has just been sitting in the basement for a few years, so it's probably time to find it a new home.

Two right now. Peavey TB Raxx/Classic 120 in a rack box, and a Bugera something-or-other SVT-3 Pro clone. The Peavey rig is magic, and the Bugera is surprisingly good. I’d like an old Trace Elliot head to go with my old TE cabs, but I’m not in a hurry.

How is the combo modified? Curious
