How many amps (heads) do you have?

Just 2- my Mesa D800, and my trusty ol' Eden Traveler head from the 90's. The Eden is backup if needed, though I'd have to drag the 4x10XLT cab along with it as I don't have a way right now to plug it into my Markbass cabs with Neutrik connectors. My Markbass cabs don't have the Neutrik/1/4" in the center capability.

Lots of preamps and poweramps and cabs.
One mesa WD-800 that comes to the gigs with me.
Two acme 210s will come with me and stack vertically so I can hear myself and to save sq feet of stage.
If there isn't going to be another bass player or a backup rig I'll bring a crown power amp and either an arkham or an alembic f-1x preamp to backup the mesa.
If it's a larger outdoor show with a weak pa and loud guitars I'll use the power amp set up with larger acme speakers, a 410 and a 212.

Im working my way up to your inventory.

Heavily used:
Orange AD200B
Orange TB500v2
Science mother
EA doubler II

Used less often or only at home:
Ampeg V2
Ampeg V4
Ampeg SVT
Mesa bass 400
DCA Blackmark
Hilbish GT120

Used almost never:
Trace elf (backup that lives in a gig bag)
Sound city L120R (still waiting for me to finish repairs)

Rocking an old 400rb and while it is good, I’d like something that could go to 2 ohms. I’d also like a different flavor of sound.

I don’t need a lot of watts. Interested in either old amps - SS or tube hybrid - as well as newer production amps.

I play with a pic, tube to Eb and lower. Use some OD/distortion in addition to clean playing so I’m looking for something that works well with pedals.
The ampeg SVT, although very heavy does everything that you’re looking for.

hah! got 3-4; not collecting consciencely! had my trusty Ashdown blowout at rehearsal several years ago, so I went out hunting to replace that 1 Amp head, that i was okay with. Caught "Amp Gas" in the process! and wound out with 3!! A GK, hartke, & a genz benz! All are good prolly favor the GB for tone & hartke& gk for power when needed but those are heavy as a kardashian;s back side!! GB fits in backpack & prolly weighs a pound or less!! + great tone!! funny never thought about amps much til the 1 blew out! then started to get nightmares! had adream Gibson came out with a line of bass amps, & mine delivered "broken" & they couldnt/wouldnt fix it! :O
