How many bass rigs do you have?

Basically two. I have some practice combos, but these are my main rigs.

I tend to like to have matching amps and cabs and because of this I have found myself sitting on 4 rigs right now. Mesa, Fender, Laney and GK rigs. Completely unnecessary and any of them would be just fine for anything that I do but variety is the spice of life eh? If I HAD to keep just one it would be the Fender rig for sure. That all tube goodness is way too nice to pass up and I have the 610 cab for bigger gigs.

Just one, GK 212 combo. I barely ever need it, it sits in my garage most of the time. Might shift it over to our storage unit.

This is all I use live these days, if I need an amp on stage. I stack vertically and 200 watts is enough for stage volume for me.

I do also have a Peavey Microbass that I’ve owned since I started playing 20+ years ago. That doesn’t see much gig time haha.

I will acquire another SVT / Fridge some day. I miss that sound. Possibly a Super Bassman / 8x10.

My main amp is the MESA Subway D800+ and WD800.
I also have my Bag End S15N Cabinets and love trying new heads with them.
Presently using The Arkham Beast, FUCHS FBT700, Walter Woods Ultra and just received an Epifani head that I’m looking forward to using.

Primary rig (when I'm using an amp live) is the Mesa WD800 thru the sealed Berg 212t ... outstanding rig!
When I can get away with lower power, I use the Mesa Walkabout thru the Berg 212t. ... even better than the WD800 but less flexible

I love the Berg cabs but I'm feeling like I might move the CN212 because the NV212t just works a bit better for me (although its heavier).
The CN112 is a great small cab, but lately I've been thinking that a Subway 1x15 might work just a bit better for me when I'm using a single/smaller cab ... primarily for live monitoring without IEMs.

Currently I have a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 head/1x12 cab, plus an additional 1x12 cab (purchased new many years ago). I also have a Ashdown Little Bastard 30 watt tube head with an ABM 6x10 cab (for the occasional festival gig).

My main rig these days is a Phil Jones PB8oo head with their C4 or C8 cabinets.

I keep an Orange Glenn Hughes Purple 50 watt comboe amp in my living room.

I've got the TT800 and the WD800. Each can be run with one or two cabs. I have the Subway 112 and 115. Each sounds great on its own, each a little different, and there are 2 pre-amps in the TT. The Subway channel is quite different from the Boogie channel too, so technically I could lay claim to 9 different rigs as far as tone/response goes, but if we're considering a rig to be the amp/cab combination, I'll go with 6.

One too many, honestly. I have two reasonable ones and one outrageous one that I should just sell. I have one recently acquired Mesa walkabout rig with a 2x12 cab that is great for just about any gig I am likely to play. I have a 70s Ampeg V4B through an Orange 1x15 that I love for recording, but it’s kinda hefty for gigs. I have done it a lot and it’s too big to play at my volume on 2 all night. That I why I bought the Mesa rig.
The elephant in the storage space is the Trace Elliot V4 Witt the 2x15 cab that I dragged all over the U.S. and Canada for 10 in my old rock band. There is very little chance that I will ever have a gig I could use thus for reasonably, but it sounds so great that it’s slightly irreplaceable. If I sold it, I would never be able to get another one if I got a big gig.
