Yeah I just got my HCT 500/1 and I love it! I may even like it more than the German made fretless. That is mostly because I'm more used to solid body basses, roundwounds and frets. Both are great, though.

What scale is the one next to last on the right? Looks really short! Precursor to today's Micro basses?

2016 Spector Forte 5. The walnut wings are topped with flamed maple so it sounds heavy and it FEELS heavy (fine by me). Aguilar passive pups w/ OBD-2 preamp. This is not only the best sounding and feeling 5 string I've ever owned, it's the best one I've ever laid hands on. The gold bridge and tuners were add ons; although it looks beautiful, I intend to reinstall the original black hardware. When I first opened the box it was like a Raiders Of The Lost Ark moment, it was just glowing, and everyone I showed it to dropped their jaw. But the minimalistic look of the Forte is more my style. Here it is next to my Forte 4:

I really love my Warwicks. The 4 is a ‘99 and the 5 is a 2005. Replaced the nuts on both with JAN III brass. My head tells me to sell the 4 because I have the 5 but my heart says I’d better keep her! The Pbass is an American Standard ‘13. It is exactly what you’d expect. The Peavey was a closet find from ‘87 that had been idle for about 17 years when I got it. It took me a couple of weeks to get the truss rod adjusted where it needed to be as I used an abundance of caution. I changed the controls to VBT from VVT (my preference). Still have the old pots and kept the original knobs. This may be one of the most under appreciated basses I’ve ever seen. Thing is fantastic! The MK Firefly was almost an impulse buy. It needed a couple of really simple and minor repairs so I got it at a great price. I’ve yet to play it in public but will on a Sunday evening at church soon.
