Doing inventory and photography of my collection for insurance over the next week. Rough count in 146 basses and 22 guitars. All but two basses are electric and 4 of my guitars are acoustic. One of my basses is a little kiddy Fender model P bass that my son plays, along with a little miniature sized Fender Strat that he bangs in too. I know I own 6 Alembics and 4 Loewenherz all of which were purchased used. I have over 20 Ibanez basses, all of which are higher end or rare. I have a nice set of EBMM basses that I love but don't play much (all but two are Family Reserve). It will be interesting to see what all I have and if there are any trends other than the fact I'm a gear whore who is really a pretty sucky musician.

You added the Fauxdera to the collection I see...what else?

I don't count the Fauxdera. First, it fails at being a bass. Second, I "gifted" it to Fodera.

In Alphabetical order.

Alembic Epic
Alembic Persuader
Aria Pro II TSB-650
Carvin Fretless something
ESP Surveyor II
FBass BNF5
Fender Precision Bass Elite
Fender Precision Bass Special Fretless
Ibanez GSR200
Kramer XL8
Lakland Skyline 44-60
Rickenbacker 4003FL
Schack Headless 5

Oh my freaking Jamerson that is twenty basses...

4. Pretty much the bare minimum: upright, fretless, fretted (all 4-strings); then another fretted that doesn't really get played, but that I hang onto for sentimental reasons. I might add a 5- or 6-string to the collection at some point, if I get curious enough.

Only 9 mostly cheap basses:

Squier Standard Jazz Bass 2004
Squier VM Jaguar Special PJ 2011
Squier VM Precision TB 2011
Squier VM Jazz Bass 2012
Squier VM Precision 2013
Fender Standard Precision 2010
ESP Ltd B105 2010
Höfner Ignition 500/1 2011
Epiphone EB3 2012

In no particular order:

Ibanez SR300
Alembic Persuader
Marcus Miller Jazz
Fender Custom Shop Jazz
Fender Jaco fretless
Lakland Skyline Hollowbody
Garz w/Peavey electronics
Peavey Cirrus w/Alembic electronics

All 4 string and all purchased here on TB except the Ibanez and Alembic.
