Are you kidding? My Peavey T-20FL is now 35 years old, changed the strings in the first year and they are still on it, keeps tuning fabulously (6-10 months without touching) and still sounds the same. Ok I don't do gigs and no rough stuff, but only one year? I'd have to disagree with that.More than 2-3 is expensive in strings rotation.....very expensive, a mounted string last at least no more than 1 year, with 20 a strings capital....

That post is almost six years old. The only bass I still have on that entire list is the Mike Lull M5V. Pared down my entire collection from 26 to 6.I must say that is crazy with all the PEavey bases you own.I do know Peavey has great Quality for their price.
